The following is a brief update of the SE DSIG activities as

At the Washington OMG meeting on November 20 - 21, we
reviewed the preliminary requirements for the SE UML Profile RFP, and several
comments were provided. We are in the process of updating the requirements
based on those comments and futher refinements. Our
major focus is to complete the requirements, and incorporate them into the RFP
for issue at the Orlando Meeting at the end of March 2003. Roger Burkhart is
preparing the draft RFP in accordance with the OMG RFP guidelines. The
following is our planned schedule for the first quarter of 2003 to reach the
RFP issue milestone.

We have continued our collaboration activity with UML 2
Submission Teams. In particular, we have been working closely with Cris Kobryn and other members of
the U2P team, to help assess how their proposal is addressing SE needs. We have
a had a series of telecons.
